Job Summary
The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, performing various tasks to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients. The Medical Assistant must understand the needs of the practice and support our mission and values. Required certifications include American Academy of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, American Registry of Medical Assistants, or National Center for Competency Testing.
Requirements
• 2 years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; a Medical Assisting degree is preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification is required within 24 months of hire
Work Schedule
Variable shifts, 12 hours, 8am-8pm
As needed, weekends and call requirements apply
