Key Responsibilities
  • Image Acquisition: Use ultrasound equipment to examine heart valves, chambers, and record images.

  • Patient Care: Explain procedures, answer patient questions, and provide assistance during examinations.
  • Image Analysis: Record examination information, calculate measurements, and compare to norms.
  • Reporting: Provide data images and analysis to physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification: Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Experience: Minimum one year of recent experience in echocardiography and/or vascular studies.
  • Licensure: Current state certification or state license.
