About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team at Lou Fusz Kia. As a key member of our automotive repair team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality repairs and maintenance of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform welding, suspension, and framework repairs, as well as identify and determine parts required for repair.
  • Review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Managers' estimate notes to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
  • Adjust, replace, and repair all series of truck and trailer equipment, including sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/panel repairs, fabrication, and structural welding.
  • Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills, as well as truck manufacturer's repair process.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications
  • Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair
  • Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair
  • Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair
  • State Vehicle Inspector Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
