Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assist with data collection, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Use critical nursing skills to assess and reassess patient needs, report changes in condition, and provide necessary nursing intervention.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing their illness or injury, including home care needs and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in professional development and lifelong learning activities.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program or accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
  • Current LPN license, specific to the state you are assigned to work.
  • LPN-IV Certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current and valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current liability auto insurance.
  • Ability to meet all physical demands of the job, including lifting/moving up to 50lbs independently and up to 200lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction from management, as well as take initiative to ensure patient needs are met.
