Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Southern Medical Management LLC. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to our young patients under the supervision of our experienced Nurse Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify patient health history, gathering pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
- Provide basic patient care as ordered, administering medications and treatments as directed.
- Document assessments, interventions, patient/family responses, and medication dispensed/prescribed, and test results in medical records.
- Answer incoming phone calls, on a rotational basis, in support of the Nurse Phone Triage Unit.
- Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
- State licensed registered or practical nurse.
- Professional customer service skills.
- Skilled in effective written and verbal communications.
- Ability to multi-task, including skills in organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians and other clinical staff.
Additional responsibilities may include training and supervision of new hires in the position of LPN, CNA, MA, and floating between various practices to train and supervise clinical staff, fill in for gaps in coverage.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including pay from $23/hr. based on experience, 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
