Clinical Optometrist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Optometrist to join our team at Matrix Providers. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Grand Junction, CO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide comprehensive eye exams for Veterans.
  • Capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically.
  • Send completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
Requirements:
  • Actively hold valid and unrestricted licensure as an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist in the state of Colorado.
  • Must be a qualified licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.
What We Offer:
  • PRN (scheduled in advance) schedule, up to 2-3 days per week, 8am - 4pm, weekdays.
  • Hourly position, paid bi-weekly.
