Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Caretaker to join our team at Walters-Dimmick Petroleum. As a Store Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our convenience stores, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the store, including windows, floors, shelving, counters, coolers, and restrooms.
  • Help maintain a fully stocked store by replenishing merchandise and supplies as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning fuel pumps and replacing windshield cleaning fluid and paper towels.
  • Keep the parking lot and sidewalks clean and safe by sweeping, washing, shoveling, or salting as needed.
  • Alert management to any issues or concerns with the store or its equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or customer service a plus.
