We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Little Company Of Mary San Pedro Hospital. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks and duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Conduct EKGs, vital signs, and basic patient care, as well as transportation of patients as needed.
- Respond appropriately to patients and families, demonstrating knowledge of age-specific needs based on the scope of service of the unit/department where assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program, or equivalent education/experience.
- Completion of 2nd semester of an accredited Nursing Program, HHA with 1-2 years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a corpsman, EMT, foreign-licensed RN or MD).
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- 1 year of experience as a Nurse Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital or post-acute environment.
