Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Golf Course Maintenance employee to join our team at Gateway National Golf Links. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will work cooperatively with our General Manager and Superintendents to ensure the daily operational needs of the golf course are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain all grounds, including the golf course, clubhouse surroundings, and other maintainable property.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as mowing, trimming, and edging of greens, tees, fairways, trees, and rough.
  • Remove trash and participate in storm cleanup as needed.
  • Rake and spin sand bunkers to ensure optimal playing conditions.
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as tee placement, yardage marking, sign placement, and pin locations.
  • Communicate effectively with Superintendents and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work a flexible schedule, with up to 30-39 hours available per week, including part-time positions.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing golf course equipment and the maintenance shed.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of golf course maintenance or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License Required.
  • Must be organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work some weekend and holiday mornings.
Salary

$15-$18 / Hour, depending on experience.
