Job Overview:
Clean Harbors, a leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, seeks an experienced Hazardous Materials Specialist.

This role involves active participation in field activities related to hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform physical labor involving lifting and pulling heavy objects, operating light and heavy equipment, handling various hand tools and powered industrial tools, and working with vibration-producing tools.
• Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection in multiple combinations.
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, and in atmospheres with potential exposure to chemical and physical agents, some of which may be hazardous, toxic, or corrosive.
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, and into and out of trucks, tanks, and other containers. Attend compliance and safety update meetings, inspect drums for container integrity, and follow local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles according to U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements and observe corporate operating guidelines and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
• Valid driver's license
• Previous relevant labor experience
