About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Green Thumb. As a key member of our dispensary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of cannabis products to our medical patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispensing and Patient Education: Provide accurate and timely medication information to patients, educate them on the properties and benefits of cannabis, and assess patient certification to recommend the best course of treatment.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state laws, and communicate restrictions with the dispensary team to ensure any limitations on product selection/quantity.
  • Customer Service and Sales: Drive retail sales and patient retention by providing exceptional customer service and promoting our products.
  • Inventory Management and Control: Assist with inventory controls, employee trainings, and other tasks as assigned by the store manager.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Must be a registered and licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the state of operations.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience with an excellent patient and customer-focused approach.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body, previous experience utilizing Point of Sale technology systems, and working knowledge of inventory and sales reporting.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.
