Job Overview

Position: Senior HVAC Installation Technician

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 Available*

Company: Air Handlers Heating & Cooling Inc has proudly served the community for over three decades. As a family-owned business, we are dedicated to providing exceptional heating and air conditioning services with a commitment to integrity and professionalism.

We are currently seeking a skilled technician with a minimum of 3 years of verified experience in residential HVAC installations.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage plus overtime, health and dental benefits, vacation and holiday pay, a tool account, and a company vehicle. Enjoy stable, year-round employment with no layoffs.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Overtime and evening work may be required on a rotational basis).

Salary Range: $35.00 per hour

Role Summary: Responsible for the installation of heating and air conditioning systems in accordance with company standards, ensuring a high-quality experience for customers. Oversee the performance of other installation technicians, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in HVAC installations
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Willingness to obtain a low voltage license within 2 years of employment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to acquire NATE certifications within one year of employment
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Familiarity with basic sheet metal practices
  • Understanding of air balancing principles and techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach
  • Completion certificate from an HVAC Technical School
  • Reliable attendance
  • 3+ years of experience in residential installations
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting
  • Insurable driving record
  • Possession of necessary tools
