Job Summary:This role involves performing case management duties 90% of the time, collaborating with colleagues, and navigating various organizations and procedures related to HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, Workers comp, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage short-term disability claims and communicate claim status to internal colleagues and external providers.
- Provide urgent care adjacent care to employees at the company headquarters, including patient triage, counseling, patient education, acute emergency visits, and first aid.
The working hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm onsite for the first 6 months, with a transition to 1 remote day a week after 6 months.

Required Skills & Experience:- BS/BA in Nursing
- Active nursing license in NY
- 1-2 years of case management experience
- Disability, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, OSHA experience
- Patient care experience in an urgent care environment
- Phlebotomy, EKG, Immunizations, basic first aid experience
- BLS certification
- Workers Comp experience
- COHN-S certification
- EMR experience
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
