Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and interpret financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Deliver insights into financial performance and trends, emphasizing critical areas for enhancement or concern.

Inventory Oversight:

  • Manage the company’s inventory accounting procedures, ensuring precise valuation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee and regulate inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and assessments.

Cost Accounting for Manufacturing:

  • Oversee and evaluate the accounting processes related to manufacturing expenses.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing department to guarantee accurate and timely recording of production costs.

Audit Coordination:

  • Facilitate and assist both internal and external audit processes.
  • Prepare audit schedules and address auditor inquiries.

Management of Fixed Assets:

  • Supervise the accounting for fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Conduct regular physical asset verification and reconciliation.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies concerning fixed assets.

Research and Development (R&D) Support:

  • Assist in the accounting for R&D initiatives, including cost capitalization and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of expenses and capitalization of applicable costs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent accounting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and experience in financial reporting.
  • Prior experience in inventory management, manufacturing cost accounting, auditing, and R&D.
  • CPA certification preferred or demonstrated progress towards CPA certification, such as passing some CPA exams.
  • Netsuite experience preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin is required.
