Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Life Care Center of South Hill. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver quality nursing care to patients and provide care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact
- Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition
- Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited LPN program
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
