Admissions Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intake Department as a PRN (as needed) nurse. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to patients and families in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families in the Intake Department.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

• Current license to practice nursing in the state of Texas.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.

Hickory Trail Hospital is a 86-bed behavioral health facility located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We provide inpatient and day treatment services for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults.
