Job Summary: As a Computer Engineer at VerdeGo Aero, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and validating the Hybrid Control Unit (HCU) for our aircraft propulsion systems. This role requires expertise in both hardware and software aspects, with a focus on creating controllers with substantial I/O capability and designing mixed signal circuit board.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop controllers with substantial I/O capability for connection to various system components and the aircraft.
  • Design hardware and software to support redundancy and fault tolerance required for aviation products.
  • Lead or conduct all necessary testing, troubleshooting, and validation of hardware and software.
  • Experience with digital data buses such as Ethernet, CAN, and ARINC.
  • Working knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Experience with FAA certification of aviation products, both software and hardware.
  • Experience with systems featuring high-voltage (up to 800 VDC) and high-speed switching (Power electronics design).

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need to be enthusiastic and experienced in designing, creating, building, and testing in a real-world environment with electrical and electronic hardware, software, and systems. Strong communication skills in English are essential for collaboration with teammates, suppliers, partners, and occasional interactions with customers and investors.
