Clinical Nurse Practitioner

About the RoleThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at SENTA Partners plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our ENT and Allergy clinics. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses.
- Assist with patient assessments, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Perform routine lab tests, collect specimens, and prepare samples for analysis.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and follow-up appointments to support efficient clinic operations.
- Respond to patient inquiries, phone calls, and triage calls, providing appropriate guidance and information.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to communicate with adult and pediatric patients and families, as well as with co-workers.
