Maintenance Technician I

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Schwan's Company. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our equipment, ensuring smooth production and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, from simple to complex.
- Set up and pre-run equipment for proper production startup.
- Control line speeds, batch formula, production rates, and overall product elegance and safety.
- Perform light maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance of all equipment.
- Assist maintenance in keeping all equipment and facility in good repair and regularly serviced.
- Conduct quality checks and complete required paperwork.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of related experience.
- Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision and obtain necessary production specifications.
- Proficient communication and problem-solving skills to pass on information to co-workers and to relay information to and from all employee levels, including management.
