About the Role

KurzSolutions is seeking a skilled Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to join our team at Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pregnant women with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite maternal-fetal medicine services and consultation to patients with high-risk pregnancies.
  • Perform and interpret level 2/targeted obstetrical ultrasound services and fetal monitoring tests.
  • Manage and modify therapies for high-risk pregnancies, collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to the standards for The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation and Client guidelines.
  • Participate in the hospital's Quality Improvement Program and abide by the policies, bylaws, and procedures of PIMC.
  • Develop strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse populations, including Native American communities.
  • Diagnose and manage complex maternal and fetal conditions, conducting detailed family and medical history assessments, physical exams, and selective laboratory tests.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency in internal medicine or obstetrics and gynecology with fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. New residency graduates with significant experience may be considered.
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
  • Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
