Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will oversee the care of a designated group of patients, adhering to the principles and policies of the relevant division. Nurses at Northside are dedicated professionals who prioritize the needs of patients and families, as well as collaboration with all members of the healthcare team. Our nursing practice embodies the values of teamwork, effective communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Required Qualifications
MANDATORY:
- Must possess a degree from an accredited nursing program and hold a valid RN license in the State of Georgia, in good standing without restrictions.
- A minimum of two (2) years of full-time nursing experience is required following orientation or residency training.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is essential. Additional cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (such as ACLS, NRP, PALS) may be required based on the specific clinical unit.
- Additional educational qualifications, competencies, and/or certifications may be required as a condition of employment, depending on the clinical unit.
- Other necessary RN attributes will vary by unit; please refer to the specific clinical unit for details.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- National Certification in a Clinical Specialty is preferred.

Work Schedule:
7 PM to 7 AM
