Electrical Engineering Internship Opportunity

Legence, a leading provider of advisory services and implementation focused on financing, designing, building, and servicing complex systems in mission-critical and high-performance facilities, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including building system design, services, and innovative solutions. As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and mentorship from our experienced engineers, and contribute to the development of our projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about electrical engineering and has a strong academic record. If you are a junior or senior in electrical engineering or a related field, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in engineer power, lighting, communications, and life safety for assigned projects.
  • Occasionally required presence at onsite visits with construction administration.
  • Effectively answer questions, stay on schedule, and follow a budget to ensure a project is completed successfully.
  • Professionally interact with designers, technicians, construction administration, and clients as needed.
  • Efficiently develop and maintain a balance and schedule between all projects and deadlines.
  • Seek mentorship and support to guarantee successful design and project completion.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Junior or Senior status preferred.
  • Proven ability to work successfully on a team and listen carefully.
  • Desire to produce quality work and grow professionally in the engineering field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven ability to maintain excellent integrity and ethical standards within role.
