Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled payroll expert to oversee the payroll functions within our organization. The Payroll Specialist will handle the daily operations of payroll management. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in payroll processing, Time & Attendance systems, payroll tax adjustments, and payroll reporting.

Key Responsibilities:


• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for all employees.


• Oversee the input of all payroll-related changes in the system, including timekeeping entries.


• Investigate and rectify any discrepancies identified during payroll processing.


• Manage the processing of all forms and terminations in accordance with compliance regulations.


• Guarantee that payroll processing adheres to all regulatory changes in payroll legislation.


• Collaborate with HR to address any employee pay-related concerns.


• Provide assistance to business partners and employees regarding payroll inquiries.


• Validate the accuracy of data flow reporting from the HR system to the payroll system.


• Review payroll preview reports to ensure correct taxation of pre-tax benefits.


• Reconcile payroll before transmission and confirm final reports for approval.


• Ensure that employees receive accurate payments and appropriate tax deductions.


• Generate weekly payroll reports from the payroll system into Excel for analysis.

Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.


• A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing is required.


• Familiarity with Payroll Time & Attendance systems is essential.


• Experience in reviewing and processing payroll tax information is necessary.


• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in payroll reporting are required.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, is essential.


• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment is crucial.
