Pediatric Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will provide high-quality patient care to infants, children, and adolescents.
The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science degree or equivalent provision, be licensed as an APRN or PA in the state of Ohio, and maintain national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience level and location.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses patients and/or populations; develops, implements and evaluates plans of care;
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines and standards as necessary for the care of the patient;
- Utilizing evidence-based practice, serves as a clinical expert for policies, procedures, documentation, and skills;
- Assists in the education, training and development of new and existing staff members;
- Engages in the community of the work unit by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, engages in Quality Improvement;
- Leverages technology and informatics to optimize healthcare outcomes;
- Commits to continued professional development of self and others;
