Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing physical therapy services to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to address their physical therapy needs.
- Provide physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions.
- Conduct home visits and provide education to patients and their families on how to perform exercises and manage their condition.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting and provide high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
