Job OverviewWe're seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at our Phoenix location. As a key member of our quality control team, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
Your primary focus will be on reviewing documents, labeling control, release activities, and product inspections to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Duties and Responsibilities- Product Inspection: Perform thorough inspections of products for defects, leaks, and particulates.
- Environmental Monitoring: Conduct environmental monitoring of personnel (as needed) and complete documentation.
- Media Fill Process Validations: Assist in the validation process, including inspection of filled units.
- Document Review: Review compounding activities such as cleaning records, line clearance forms, and inventory sheets.
- Sampling and Testing: Submit samples to the lab for particulate identification or microbial analysis.
- Maintenance and Calibration: Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance record files.
- Raw Material Release and Movement: Assist with raw material release and movement.
- Quality Events and Audits: Document and initiate quality events for deviation and complaint investigations and support internal and external audits.
- Quality Records: Maintain quality records, including equipment calibration and maintenance, training, deviation and complaint investigation, environmental monitoring, Certificate of Analysis, clean room certification, etc.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory guidelines.
- Able to perform calculations.
- Able to work within established procedures and practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to effectively troubleshoot issues.
