CompensationThe starting pay is $18 to $20 per hour, with shift differentials available for evenings, nights, and weekends. Additionally, you will receive weekly pay and benefits, including:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing daily care to patients, including personal grooming and hygiene
- Supporting patients in their care needs, such as oral, denture, and skin care
- Assisting patients with daily care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and bathroom activities
- Helping patients in and out of bed and into wheelchairs using transfer belts
- Taking vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and respiration, and recording the information
- Assisting patients to the dining area for meals and documenting intake of nourishment
- Providing personal grooming assistance, such as brushing hair, trimming fingernails and toenails, and shaving
- Turning patients intermittently if they are bedridden due to illness
- Documenting and reporting patient health information, I&O, medical condition changes, and care given
- Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
- Understanding and utilizing care plans
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the State of Georgia
You should possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact with colleagues, patients, family members, and visitors. You should also demonstrate a warm and friendly demeanor, responding to concerns and answering questions professionally.
