Job Title: Monitor Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Monitor Technician to join our team at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg. As a Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for performing telemetry monitoring, identifying significant arrhythmias and signs of patient distress, and intervening appropriately. You will also be responsible for testing equipment for proper working order and reporting equipment problems to your supervisor.
Responsibilities:
* Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors
* Identify significant arrhythmias and signs of patient distress and intervene appropriately
* Identify and correct for artifacts
* Report abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
* Test equipment for proper working order and report equipment problems to supervisor
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
Work Schedule:
* Full-time
* Day shift, 10+ hours/shift, rotate weekends
Location:
* Tennessee - Lawrenceburg
