Nurse Practitioner

As a Registered Nurse with Aequor Technologies, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring and managing patients with acute and chronic conditions, administering medications and treatments, and developing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit
• Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments according to physician orders
• Develop individualized care plans for patients, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team
• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Assist with wound care, catheterizations, and other medical procedures
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition
Requirements
• Current RN state license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in medical-surgical and/or telemetry nursing
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to perform patient assessments and manage care plans in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
