Saxon Global seeks a seasoned Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer to spearhead the development of comprehensive quality assurance strategies for our software applications.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end test strategies, analyzing test results, and communicating quality standards to the QA team, leadership, and development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
  • Identifies, sets, creates, and captures appropriate quality assurance standards and parameters.
  • Coordinates product testing processes and participates in product/application testing.
  • Facilitates initiative-taking solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data and maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Maintains records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience required (Area of Study: Application Development, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related degree).
  • +10 years' experience in software testing and; +5 years in a lead Quality Assurance role and; +5 years of automated testing experience.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps processes and proficient in analyzing test results & data completeness and consistency.
  • Basic experience with cloud concepts, programming languages, and SQL and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Competencies and Success Requirements:
  • Solid knowledge in Quality Assurance processes, metrics to support reliable software products and ASQ, CSQE or other software quality certificates are beneficial.
  • Familiarization with ISO standards and ability to create and run test cases that cover a wide variety of scenarios such as End-to-End, functional, regression, integration, load, and performance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot using common sense approaches and to determine root causes using process of elimination and strong attention to detail.
