Job Title: Clinical Dietitian Specialist

Health Systems Management, Inc. is a renowned healthcare organization providing comprehensive management services for dialysis facilities in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. With 35 years of experience, HSM has established a reputation for delivering high-quality patient care and fostering collaboration between physicians and administrative teams. We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our dialysis team.

Responsibilities and Physical Demands:
  • Provide nutrition education to hemodialysis patients.
  • Conduct monthly assessments and review lab results with patients.
  • Round with physicians on a weekly basis or as needed.
  • Recommend vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary personnel to address nutritional and emotional needs of patients.
  • Monitor patients' weights and adjust diet and fluid needs accordingly.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and teamwork with other Registered Dietitians.
  • Develop patient-centered education projects.

Education Requirements and Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required.
  • Master's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics preferred.
  • Current Dietetics licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience with clinical dietetics required; ESRD patients preferred.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule and fill in when needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass the Ishihara's Color Blind Test.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
