The Eligibility Specialist plays a crucial role in evaluating program eligibility for clients seeking assistance with SNAP (food support), Cash Assistance, Healthcare, and various financial aid programs. This position requires the ability to independently investigate, understand, and implement program policies and regulations as they apply to applicants.
Your contributions can significantly impact the lives of individuals and families striving for self-sufficiency. We provide flexible work schedules and remote work options after an initial probationary period.
Qualifications: A high school diploma is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in clerical, business, or bookkeeping roles. A valid driver's license is necessary. Experience in a social services or human services agency is preferred.
Proficiency in a second language may qualify you for an additional $1.00/hour. We offer an excellent benefits package.
