Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our team at Accupac. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate sit-down and stand-up power forklifts to move and store materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers, and prepare materials for proper identification and storage.
  • Verify and sign delivery carrier's Bills of Lading, and accurately report material locations through the use of the Bar Code Inventory System.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all cGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Accurately complete all Receiving Reports, Trailer Inspection Forms, and Inter-company Transfer Sheets.
  • Effectively verify and load outbound trailers, and stretch wrap pallets of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Able to operate power forklifts and industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Possess basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret instructional signs and warning placards.
  • Able to work different shifts, hours, and overtime on short notice, and to sustain a minimum of one hour of strenuous activity.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds from the floor to waist level, and to carry a container weighing up to a certain amount up a flight of stairs.
Working Conditions
  • Able to stand/walk on cement floors for 10-40% of the workday, and to sit 41-75% of the workday.
  • Able to bend/stoop 41-75% of the workday.
