Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance exercises for equipment, including troubleshooting and repair visits.
  • Assist with laboratory support services, including glassware collection, washing, autoclaving, and redistribution.
  • Support chemical lifecycle management, ensuring hazardous chemicals are properly tagged, stored, and disposed of.
  • Provide general office and laboratory operations administration and logistics support, including office space management and collaboration with other teams.
  • Navigate environmental health and safety compliance, including training and safety walkthroughs.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of related experience working in a lab.
  • Ability to work within defined procedures and practices to produce consistent and reproducible results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and careful record keeping.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office/Google Suite and web-based data systems.
