NutraCo is a leading provider of Clinical Nutrition Services for Long Term Care facilities across the United States. We are currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Registered Dietitian to join our team. This position offers a Full-Time schedule with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate care, ensuring respect and dignity for all residents.
  • Identify and address nutrition-related health issues, including malnutrition, weight loss, wound healing, and chronic disease management.
  • Collaborate with fellow dietitians and facility staff to optimize resident care.
  • Conduct necessary clinical assessments, including new admissions and follow-ups.
  • Utilize the EMR system for accurate charting.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care plan discussions.
  • Perform daily meal rounds to assess resident satisfaction and nutritional needs.
  • Conduct monthly sanitation audits to ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Review and approve dietary menus.
  • Complete Section K of the MDS documentation.
  • Work alongside the Dietary Technician or Clinical Nutrition Manager to coordinate resident care, as applicable.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with other healthcare professionals.
  • Experience with EMR systems is preferred (e.g., PCC, SigmaCare, Matrix, or Visual).
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or be Registration Eligible with a verification statement.
  • Compliance with state licensure requirements.
  • Adherence to facility vaccination policies.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Availability for a Monday to Friday work schedule.
  • Previous experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facilities is preferred but not mandatory.
