Job Overview

The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in delivering clinical guidance to our dedicated staff, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence for all clients. This position requires outstanding mentorship and supervision of BCBAs within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the recruitment process for BCBAs, collaborating with Human Resources.
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of new BCBA hires.
  • Facilitate continuous clinical training for the BCBA team.
  • Conduct performance assessments for BCBAs.
  • Enhance the professional, clinical, and leadership capabilities of BCBAs.
  • Support the intake process for new clients, including assessments and insurance documentation.
  • Maintain strong relationships and open communication with client caregivers.
  • Address caregiver inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Supervise ongoing patient programs to uphold clinical quality.
  • Review treatment plans and authorization paperwork, providing constructive feedback.
  • Assist in peer review discussions and insurance appeals as necessary.
  • Coordinate care for patients when required.
  • Manage ongoing clinical training for RBTs in collaboration with the BCBA team.
  • Oversee a caseload of 8 full-time equivalent patients.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in behavior analysis or a related discipline.
  • BCBA certification from the BACB and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a BCBA role.
  • Familiarity with the Catalyst data collection platform and proficiency in Excel graphing.
  • Excellent technical writing abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience in presenting to diverse groups, including parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
