Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all applicable codes, regulations, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety
  • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs and emergency and preventive maintenance
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment systems
  • Assist with solving and repairing buildings and installed systems, including plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC
  • Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws
  • Maintain lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps
  • Maintain grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, or snow removal
  • Perform welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook
