Position Overview- Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU setting.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5, with a goal of 1:4.
- Be prepared to float to other units as necessary based on patient acuity.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia nursing license.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with strong cardiac skills.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Additional Information:
- All travelers are required to work two out of the three major winter holidays.
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are classified as local and are not eligible for this position.
