We are seeking a highly skilled Physiatrist Clinician-Educator to join our team at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. As a key member of our Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, you will provide exceptional patient care, teach medical students and residents, and contribute to research activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients with neurological and medically complex conditions.
  • Assume responsibility for patients' clinical quality, safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.
  • Advocate for a scientific approach to patient care delivery.
  • Participate in assigned Hospital and Department Committee work.
  • Contribute to research and medical education activities.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois.
  • Completed an accredited residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
  • Board certified or Board eligible.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to communicate effectively.
