Maintenance Technician

Cohesive Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance work, preparing equipment, and ensuring the overall safety and cleanliness of our hospital.

• Respond to emergency situations, including fire, weather, and security incidents.
• Install and repair medical equipment, including pumps and sanitizers.
• Perform minor electrical work, including replacing light fixtures and switches.
• Repair plumbing issues, including pipes and faucets.
• Conduct minor construction tasks, including drywall, taping, floating, and painting.
• Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness in the plant.
• Participate in other assigned duties as directed by the department manager.

• Seek out external resources to enhance professional knowledge.
• Share knowledge with hospital staff, board members, and administrators.
• Comply with HIPAA regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain a good attendance record and follow hospital rules.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, nurses, physicians, peers, supervisors, and students.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

• High school graduate or equivalency.
• Knowledge of maintenance regulations in a hospital setting.
• One year of experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
