Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical inquiries and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including extrusion and blending machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on air compression systems, chillers, and closed-loop water systems.
- Test and analyze water quality in the closed-loop system, adding chemicals as necessary.
- Coordinate with vendors for outside maintenance and repairs.
- Utilize SAP to locate and manage inventory, adhering to removal procedures.
- Identify and procure non-inventory items, ensuring timely completion of projects and tasks.
- Train new mechanical technicians.
- Deliver high-quality repairs in a timely manner, ensuring the continued production of finished goods for external customers.
- Proactively identify potential equipment, building, and grounds issues.
Work Schedule
Shift start: 6:00 PM
Shift length: 12 hours
Rotating shifts - 2 on, 2 off/ 3 on, 2 off/ 2 on, 3 off
