Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse range of patients, including those with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including those on a continuous cardiac monitor.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
