About the Role

As a Home Infusion Pharmacist at Optum, you will play a crucial part in delivering care and improving health outcomes for millions of people worldwide. Our team is dedicated to connecting patients with the necessary resources, pharmacy benefits, and data to live healthier lives.

The primary responsibilities of this role include dispensing unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, enteral, and related supplies while adhering to state and federal regulations. You will also be responsible for compounding medications in a sterile environment, processing outgoing pharmacy orders, and performing drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties.

You will need to have a solid understanding of drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office. Additionally, you must be able to work a flexible schedule and rotate on-call shifts based on business needs.

Key Requirements

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of NY
  • Solid drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge
  • Knowledgeable in various infusion-related therapies

Estimated Salary: $42.31 - $83.27 per hour
