Experienced Plumber Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and licensed plumber to join our team at Mullins Mechanical & Welding in Birmingham, Alabama.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to interpret blueprints and building specifications, and have experience with pipe installation, fabrication, and repair.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map out piping layouts.
  • Install pipes, fixtures, and supports for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
  • Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed.
  • Use saws and pipe cutters as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent management and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
