Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based setting. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, therapy sessions, and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success and integration of therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and other meetings related to student progress and goals.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
