Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively onboard all clinical staff within the pharmacy in accordance with the company's Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures and best practices.
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance programs and services.
  • Mentor new employees to foster their professional development.
  • Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including training documentation and reporting, while supporting the company's financial objectives through responsible inventory management.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect regulatory changes. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the role, relevant regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Execute additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies in the performance of duties.
  • Support regional operations as needed, including pharmacy coverage as approved by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician is required; Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
  • High school diploma is required; an Associate Degree is preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician is required.
  • Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
  • A valid state driver's license is necessary for travel to various locations.
  • Compliance with the company's Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is mandatory.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of experience as a pharmacy technician is required.
  • One year of experience as a Clinic-Pharmacy Technician within the organization is preferred.

Screenings:

To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, all employment offers at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute are contingent upon successful completion of background screenings. Additionally, new hires are required to receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, unless an exemption is approved.
