Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Stoughton Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, including computer and post-image processing functions. You will also be responsible for assigned quality and inventory control duties, as well as educating patients and/or students in MRI procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competency in all MRI equipment and procedures
- Protect patients from magnetic and mechanical hazards
- Prepare studies for interpretation by the Radiologist
- Accurately utilize the HER and PACS systems to perform job-related tasks
- Assist with training of new employees and students
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)
- Current State of Wisconsin License as a Licensed Radiographer
- Current BLS certification
- Basic Computer competency skills
