Position Overview:

The Senior Analyst for Continuity of Business (CoB) and Crisis Management (CM) is a highly experienced role within the organization. This position requires a profound understanding of business continuity strategies and crisis management processes.

The analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing operational workflows and developing innovative techniques to ensure the resilience of business functions.

Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal member of the team, the Senior Analyst will:

  • Support the CoB organization by providing expertise in business recovery coordination.
  • Guide regional Business Recovery Coordinators in creating comprehensive Business Impact Assessments (BIA), Business Recovery Plans (BRP), and Crisis Management Plans (CMP).
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the CoB program.
  • Document outcomes and perform annual attestations in the enterprise system to facilitate year-end reporting.
  • Demonstrate a strong analytical background, effectively managing tasks under pressure.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach to workload management while adhering to direction.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, confirming and discussing process flows.
  • Provide constructive feedback for process improvements and strategic realignment.
  • Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring the protection of the firm's reputation and assets.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • 2-3 years of experience in business continuity management, disaster recovery, or risk management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in technology project management.
  • A broad understanding of technology and its implications for business continuity.
  • Preferred industry certification in business continuity (e.g., CBCP from DRII).

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Proficiency in Excel and strong critical thinking skills are essential for identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems.
