Compunnel Inc. is seeking a skilled Aircraft Assembly Technician to join our team in Kinston, NC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing aircraft parts and assemblies to meet quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with blueprints, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install parts and assemblies to quality requirements.
- Complete data gathering transactions to facilitate assembly progression.
- Setup and perform manual and automated assembly operations, and portable machine functions required to accomplish assignments.
- Perform rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing, or checks during or after final assembly and/or assembly progression.
- Move and obtain correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, etc.
- Use precision measuring instruments to accomplish work assignments.
- Report and investigate job handicaps such as errors in parts, assembly procedures, tools, sequences, etc.
- Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of daily work duties.
- Move product within the manufacturing work area and complete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation.
- Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training, coaching, and assisting employees.
Requirements
Must have experience working with blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Must be able to setup and perform manual and automated assembly operations. Must be able to use precision measuring instruments and perform routine minor machine maintenance.
