Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardio Perfusionist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating extra-corporeal circulation equipment during medical procedures and ensuring the proper management of physiologic functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient medical status and calculate perfusion requirements
  • Conduct perfusion techniques and monitor patient status
  • Maintain current knowledge of perfusion technology and cardiac surgery
  • Work effectively as a team member and communicate with colleagues
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited cardiopulmonary perfusion program with a master's degree or a bachelor's degree
  • Preferred two years of experience with a bachelor's or master's degree
  • Certified or eligible to be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
  • Connecticut State Perfusion License/ABCP Certified Clinical Perfusionist preferred or must obtain within one year of hire
